01 OUR STORY
Born from a
Promise to
Give Back.
“There was a time when my family had no place to call home.”
For more than two years, founder Jim Branchflower and his family lived with homelessness and the fear of not knowing what tomorrow would bring. Then came the heartbreak of his family’s health challenges, which included cancer — long stretches of loss, fear, and a sense of powerlessness as loved ones suffered.
When his family finally found their way back on their feet, Jim made a promise: to give back, and to help others facing difficult circumstances in whatever way he could.
That promise grew from a family’s commitment into a vision for connecting people around the world through storytelling and meaningful action.
That promise became The Humanity Channel.
